This tradition celebrates multiple goals

Since 2011, members of the Bar and Bench have come together twice a year for a hockey tradition known as the Bench-Bar Game. Held during the fall and spring administrative weeks for the Court, most recently on October 23rd, the players come together to enjoy some friendly competition on the ice.

This year, the games’ sponsor, Norman Hanson & DeTroy tried something new - with great success. The set a suggested contribution level for players to support the 2024 Campaign for Justice, as a new part of the Bench-Bar Game tradition.

We are so grateful —- and pretty jazzed that they attracted gifts from so many, raising over $2,000 while having a great time!

Their impact is felt not just on the ice or in their offices or courtrooms, but also in the homes of people with low incomes who need legal help to navigate through the legal system and resolve critical legal matters.
